Icons
Small pictorial symbol used in a graphical user interface (GUI) or in web documents to identify a file, folder, program, or device (such as drive, modem, printer). An icon (pronounced EYE-kahn ) is a small picture that represents an application a capability, or some other concept or specific entity with meaning for the user. Icons are very useful in applications that use windows, because you can 'activate' with the click of a mouse button to start an operation or to make a choice that help u execute commands, open programs or documents quickly. To execute a command by using an icon, click or double-click on the icon. On a Web page, the icons frequently function as a hypertext link or file shortcut to access the program or data.

Pictorial
Pictorial is defined as something illustrated or expressed in pictures.The definition of pictorial is having to use pictures. For example, books and newspapers which has pictures. It also means to show visual images. Another definition of this word is that it is illustrated by pictures.


Signage
The definition of signage means using signs or symbols to convey a message and communicate to a specific group. This is usually used for marketing. Moreover, the four main functions of signs is to show information about services and facilities like maps and directories.
